Take a Look at ColourForm
Designers Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings have launched their first furniture line with Herman Miller, and it doesn't disappoint. Read below to learn more about the design intention and application behind this design-driven furniture.
Regarding the design inspiration behind this sofa group, Baijings explained, "We wanted to do a wood-framed sofa from the start—we love working with wood—and we wanted the upholstery to have a draped look, as though blankets have been folded over the frame."
One unique feature of this line is the ability to match the fabric colors to the wood frame, which is offered in similar muted matte finishes. The fabric selections for ColourForm were custom-created in partnership with Maharam, offering three new aesthetics: Tracery, Pare, and Quilted Pare.
This fresh line includes an extremely flexible variety of seating arrangements, which can be ordered with or without arms. In addition, there is a chaise lounge offered in a low tête-à-tête version, a club chair, corner section, ottoman, and bench.
As the residential-meets-commercial trend continues, it becomes increasingly important for companies to select furniture that is comfortable, sleek, and long-lasting. The ColourForm group is an attractive option for multiple settings, and you can learn more about the line through any of our team members.
